Before arriving here, the two of them just moved in (no, they are not a couple.). My smaller home for the next while.

The fridge, our prized appliance. You'll notice on the right hand side is a pile of garbage. Garbage in Taiwan is sorted very carefully; recyclables and other things are to be teased and appropriately disposed of. The garbage system is a product of the accelerating environmental protection plan.

Fun Fact: The garbage trucks that come around to collect your deposits jingle exactly like ice-cream trucks in the West, a true contradiction.
